Allow to Dry

Poor Lela has been struck with a sudden and most awful case of diaper rash. So bad that I had to venture far into a nearby apple and pear orchard yesterday to change her diaper in order to avoid disrupting a friend's wedding ceremony with her screaming.

After digging out our hidden diaper cream stash (it's bad news for cloth diapers) and reading the instructions, ...

• Cleanse the diaper area and allow to dry
• Apply ointment liberally

I see this.

"Allow to dry" is evidently not the passive activity that I envisioned.
